About this Role:

This position requires a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with expertise in diesel, hydraulics, and maintenance welding. The role involves travel throughout the U.S. to support operations in remote locations.

Hourly compensation: $50.00 DOE.

What You'll Do:
  • Perform hydraulic repair, plumbing, and maintenance of specialty drilling and ancillary equipment.
  • Conduct MIG welding of mild steel and alloys.
  • Meet agreed-upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.
  • Perform routine service, maintenance, and repair to equipment.
  • Perform other shop duties assigned by the supervisor.
What You'll Bring:
  • Proficiency in reading dial calipers and indicators.
  • Preferred minimum of 1 year of fabrication experience in a professional shop setting.
  • Must be proficient in GMAW and FCAW of mild steel, with TIG/MIG of aluminum preferred.
  • Ability to consistently produce quality welds that are structural and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Required experience in hydraulics.
  • May be required to provide own hand tools and toolbox.
  • Required to provide own welding hood and steel toe boots.
  • Ability to follow Crux outlined procedures and learn new processes.
  • Travel to Crux projects throughout the USA and support field operations in remote locations.
Compensation Range:
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $35.00/Hr. - USD $50.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
