Job Title: Special Operations Certified Athletic Trainer

Job Summary:

KBR is seeking a highly qualified Certified Athletic Trainer to provide injury prevention, basic acute care, and rehabilitative care to Special Operations personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in athletic training, with experience working with high-level athletes and military personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide injury prevention and basic acute care to Special Operations personnel
  • Develop and implement rehabilitative care plans to enhance performance and reduce injury risk
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in quarterly peer reviews to maintain certification
  • Attend meetings with other POTFF staff members and medical personnel as requested

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training
  • NATABOC certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ATC with individual athletes and groups of athletes at the levels of NCAA Division I, Olympic, professional, and/or SOF Operators
  • Fluent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to meet physical demands of training with SOF, including hiking over rough terrain and functioning in austere environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Athletic Training
  • Prior military and/or SOF experience
  • Experience in the field of strength and conditioning
