This is a strategic and transformation-focused role within the National Black MBA Association's Global Technology organization. As a Manager of Site Reliability Engineering, you will play a key part in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our security services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and drive monitoring, alerting, and ticket reporting strategies to measure SLA, SLO, MTTI, MTTR, and align with management expectations to reduce/minimize production downtime.
- Guide site reliability automation to help eliminate manual toil and create a self-healing capability.
- Participate in the selection of appropriate automation tools, defining technology, quality, experience, and implementation standards and practices within your technical domain.
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, adaptability, cost, and security.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Technology or a related field.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar position.
- Experience with SRE design to address reliability and resiliency with availability.
- Experience in working in a cloud environment.
- Experience in mobile development on iOS and Android.
- Solid experience with DevOps (CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar; Git/GitHub).
- Scalability design, as well as performance monitoring and testing.
- Comfortable with production environments, firewalls, and networking.
- Good experience in deploying, observing, altering, logging, and monitoring systems (New Relic, Data dog or something similar) with a predictive analysis approach.
- Experience partnering with customers with good interpersonal and written communication skills.
What We Offer
The National Black MBA Association offers a competitive salary range for this role, which is $162,250.
