Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • A genuine enthusiasm for working in a café or coffee environment.
  • A valid Food Handlers card is mandatory for all food service personnel involved in food preparation, storage, and service.
  • Prior experience as a Barista is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with management, team members, and customers.
  • Experience in coffee bean roasting is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, with a knack for prioritizing tasks and functioning efficiently in a dynamic setting.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Capability to lift up to 40 lbs. when necessary.
