Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our construction team at Dominion Properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing field operations, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring the successful completion of renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Scoping: Develop and manage project scopes, including renovation plans and timelines.
  • Subcontractor Management: Negotiate with and engage labor subcontractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Construction Scheduling: Manage subcontractors and the critical path through the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with company standards.
  • Material Management: Review and approve material take-offs, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materials.
  • Subcontractor Onboarding: Develop and implement onboarding processes for new subcontractors, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing disruptions to projects.
Requirements
  • Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Construction Knowledge: Have a solid understanding of construction sequences, including mechanical trades (HVAC, Electric, Plumbing, Structural).
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy in all aspects of project management.
  • Leadership Skills: Possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct subcontractors and team members.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and company leadership.
