POSITION SUMMARY:

We are in search of a Chief People and Culture Officer to join our HR Administration team. This full-time position will primarily operate during standard business hours.


Role Purpose:

The Chief People and Culture Officer will provide senior leadership for all People and Culture functions, playing a critical role in strategically defining the Employee Experience lifecycle.

This role will lead strategic initiatives and programs across the organization, collaborating with the executive leadership team to drive People and Culture efforts that align with the overall business strategy.

The Chief Officer will report to the Chief Administrative Officer for daily operations while consulting with the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Team for strategic decisions.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Lead the formulation and execution of strategic plans for People and Culture Operations, including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, career progression, retention, employee relations, Total Rewards, and Volunteer Services.

2. Implement strategic plans and policies to cultivate collaborative relationships with labor organizations, providing guidance to the executive leadership team and the Board on these topics.

3. Collaborate with the Board and Executive Committee on CEO performance evaluations, executive compensation processes, and incentive plan approvals.

4. Define People and Culture metrics and service delivery standards to ensure alignment with organizational needs, identifying opportunities for process and service delivery improvements.

5. Serve as an advisor to executives on organizational structure, change management, and performance enhancement.

6. Oversee the development and implementation of employee benefits policies and programs, including insurance and third-party administrative services.

7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and develop health enhancement strategies to minimize employee injuries and illnesses.

8. Collaborate with IT and Finance to ensure effective payroll systems and timely service delivery.

9. Manage the People and Culture budget and resources efficiently.

10. Partner with the health equity team to ensure diversity strategies align with organizational goals.

11. Lead the implementation of leadership development and talent management processes, including succession planning.

12. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:

At least eight years of progressive Human Resources Management experience in healthcare, including a minimum of five years in a leadership role.
