About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Reisterstown Pet Resort & Spa. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and place calls to clients for the purpose of scheduling, updating, and providing information.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm and organized manner to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and pet records, including immunization records and medical concerns.
  • Assist clients with their needs, providing clear instructions, information, and invoices as required.
  • Utilize our resort computer systems to document check-in and check-out procedures for pets, including any specific instructions or observations.
  • Manage the financial aspects of the resort, including maintaining accurate balances, collecting client transactions, and following cash and credit card handling procedures.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well with clients, pets, and team members.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy towards clients and treat pets with compassion and respect.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and vacations.
  • Experience with kennel software is preferred, but not required.
