Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Trinity Health Michigan. As a key member of our respiratory care department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional leadership in the delivery of patient care, utilizing AIDET principles and Managing Up concepts to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Participate in patient rounds, ensuring treatments are provided in accordance with physician orders and approved medical protocols.
  • Maintain safe respiratory therapy practices, alerting leadership to any safety issues or concerns.
  • Facilitate good rapport and cooperative relationships, approaching conflict in a constructive manner and helping to identify problems, offer solutions, and participate in their resolution.
  • Participate in new educational programs and equipment/procedure implementations, and facilitate instruction of staff or students during clinical training.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner - Accredited Respiratory Therapist program: Registry eligible.
  • Maintain current RRT credential and valid State of Michigan License in Respiratory Care.
  • Consistently exhibit interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and other health personnel and department management.
  • Utilize analytical skills necessary to identify patient needs and possess the ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
