We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our Outside Sales team at Builders FirstSource. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with our customers.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual sales and gross profit objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of outside sales representatives to ensure they have the tools and resources needed to succeed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement sales training programs to ensure sales representatives have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to ensure we are competitive and innovative in our sales approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience, preferably in the building materials industry.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and developing and executing effective sales strategies.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of sales representatives.
