Job Description

Aerial Equipment Service Technician

We are looking for a dedicated Aerial Equipment Service Technician to be part of our operations. In this position, you will be tasked with the maintenance and repair of our clients' machinery, specifically boom lifts, along with conducting repairs on our inventory of machines. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving issues related to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and cosmetic aspects of Aerial Work Platforms (Boom Lifts / Cherry Pickers). Repairs will be performed at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various models of aerial work platforms and boom lifts.
  • Execute assigned tasks and work orders with minimal supervision.
  • Document and communicate the work performed in the field effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ensure successful completion of work orders in terms of cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures diligently.

Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines. Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong customer service abilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and capability to operate lift trucks safely.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience in machinery or related fields is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment.
  • Physical ability to work in various positions including bending, stooping, standing, sitting, and lying down.
  • Proven capacity to accept direction and complete tasks independently or as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the company's customer service philosophy.
  • Ability to work autonomously without constant oversight.

Salary: $22 - $26/hr. / Depending on experience

Company:

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
