Nutrition Therapist

As a Registered Dietitian (RD) with HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC, you will play a vital role in guiding patients, families, and facility staff on all aspects of medical nutrition therapy to create a healthy and healing environment. You will build relationships with physicians and nursing to support patient satisfaction and achieve quality care that meets each patient's nutritional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and provide evidence-based interventions for inpatient and outpatient care
- Develop and implement educational programs for patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff on nutritional needs
- Document patient nutritional assessments, goals, and interventions in the medical record
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient nutritional status
- Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements
- Participate in patient rounds and maintain clinical nutrition policies to ensure regulatory compliance
Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian with Commission of Dietetic Registration and state licensure
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and software
