Position Summary:
The International Psychology Division within the College of Graduate and Professional Studies is in search of a committed Program Faculty member. This position encompasses responsibilities such as teaching, mentoring students, leading international field experiences, contributing to scholarly research, and engaging actively within the academic community. As a faculty member, you will significantly influence the development of future professionals in the international psychology sector.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Instruction:
- Deliver a total of 24 credit hours across six academic terms
- Remain informed about current trends in international psychology
- Create course materials and assessments
- Student Mentorship:
- Guide students in their academic and career paths
- Support students throughout their dissertation processes
- Dissertation Guidance:
- Provide specialized knowledge on dissertation topics
- Assist students with timeline management and writing
- Research Contributions:
- Engage in research initiatives and community service
- Professional Engagement:
- Advocate for advancements in the field of psychology
- Participate in community outreach efforts
- Institutional Involvement:
- Take part in academic activities and curriculum development
- Contribute to faculty recruitment and admissions processes
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in psychology
- Experience in teaching and facilitating international field experiences
- Publication record in academic journals
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching international psychology
- Development of online learning programs for professionals
- Expertise in program evaluation and strategic planning
- Skills in student recruitment and marketing
Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary range: $70,000 - $85,000. Additional benefits include paid time off, health insurance, retirement plans, and more.
