Reservations Specialist

Position Overview:

The Reservations Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service in a dynamic sales and customer support environment. This position is responsible for providing accurate, friendly, and efficient assistance to all guests. The primary focus is to facilitate the booking of accommodations and resort services tailored to the needs of each visitor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold the service standards of Tamarack Resort for guests, homeowners, and team members.
• Manage inbound communications via phone, email, and chat, while also reaching out to past guests to enhance their vacation experiences.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all resort offerings, events, discounts, and promotional initiatives.
• Act as a sales consultant, aligning guest preferences with suitable products and suggesting additional services whenever possible.
• Meet established productivity and quality benchmarks by ensuring all reservations are accurate and error-free.
• Master the use of the resort's point of sale and booking systems to maximize efficiency.
• Adhere to scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays, while ensuring consistent attendance to minimize call abandonment.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously across various communication platforms.
• Conduct quality checks on bookings made through phone and online channels.
• Complete all necessary closing procedures at the end of each shift.
• Provide guests with timely updates on lift operations, weather conditions, and upcoming events.
• Assist with special projects and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Foster positive relationships and rapport with guests to enhance their overall experience.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• A genuine passion for engaging with guests and collaborating with team members.
• Prior experience in sales and customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with Property Management Systems and Point-of-Sale systems is advantageous.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient problem-solving abilities with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Minimum age requirement of 16 years.
