Job Title: Branch Banking Client Consultant II-Float

Location: West Orange - 452 (West Orange, NJ)

Job Summary:

A Branch Banking-Client Consultant II Float travels between assigned branches to provide customers with high-quality, prompt, and professional financial services. They focus on client management, client retention, and introductions to key bank partners to ensure clients have access to experts who can help them achieve their financial goals. This position involves greater lending and basic investment interactions and participates in more complex banking conversations with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Performance: Support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance and primary client acquisition. Actively seek and deliver the right client introductions to the right team member(s) to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiatives.
  • Client Experience: Provide positive client experiences by assisting with account questions, problems, and/or complaints and through research and communication resolve in a timely and effective manner. Deliver client engagement and education. Meet behavioral activity goals as defined by Retail Leadership, including NextGen and marketing campaign lead calling, weekly appointments set, weekly appointments completed, and needs met.
  • Risk Management: Execute all sales, service, and banking transactions accurately and compliantly. Strive for no controllable losses.
  • Perform more moderately complex special projects and additional duties as required.
  • Consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent, required
  • 4 – 5 years customer service and sales experience, including in the financial services industry, required
  • May require National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. NMLS registration can be completed after job entry date.
  • Ability to train and mentor others, including products and platform procedures, required
  • Experience in financial services industry, preferred
  • Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies, preferred
