We are seeking a skilled Senior System Software Integration Engineer to join our team at 804 Technology. As a key member of our software integration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless installation and configuration of software on various systems, including hardware and networking components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Software Installation & Integration: Install and configure software on a variety of systems, guaranteeing successful integration with hardware and networking components.">
  • System Rework & Maintenance: Perform system rework after software updates, releases, or patches, including troubleshooting and resolving integration issues.">
  • Design Transfer for Manufacturing: Support software project management, development of software configuration instructions, SBOM, and managing software test tools for design transfer to manufacturing.">
  • Networking: Configure and manage network settings for software systems, including IP configuration, network security, and firewall rules.">
  • Cross-Platform Management: Handle system tasks in both Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows environments, ensuring smooth software functionality across platforms.">
  • System Validation & Testing: Authoring test methods and protocols, conduct system validation tests post-installation to ensure stability, functionality, and performance alignment with engineering specifications.">
  • Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, network engineers, electro-mechanical engineers, system integration engineer, and QA teams to support integration and resolve technical issues.">
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of installation procedures, configuration changes/configuration management, and troubleshooting steps.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).">
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in system software integration, medical device or regulatory environment, and design transfer to manufacturing.">
  • Proven experience in software installation, system integration, and system rework following software releases.">
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and network configuration.">
  • Expertise in Linux and Windows operating systems.">
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).">
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.">
  • Knowledge of software version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps).">
  • Fundamental engineering skills, including problem-solving, systems analysis, and troubleshooting.">
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.">
  • Experience with automation tools for system configuration and software deployment is a plus.">
