Job Description

The Triumph Group is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the IT department, this individual will be responsible for supporting and maintaining top-notch security strategies across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on enterprise security solutions. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

About the Job

This position involves monitoring and advising on security-related matters, collaborating with functional and development teams, and working closely with third-party providers. Key responsibilities include providing ongoing IT and business support, configuring and managing security systems, and presenting technical expertise regarding security risks and mitigation approaches. The successful candidate will also be expected to evaluate new security technologies and recommend potential replacements or enhancements to existing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and management of security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Provide tactical support and execution, focused on incident prevention, detection, and response.
  • Evaluate new security-related technologies and recommend potential replacements or enhancements to existing systems.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years' experience in information technology, information systems, or business systems is required, with at least 5 years of experience related to enterprise security. Additionally, candidates should hold relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP. A solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and the OSI 7-layer model is essential, as is experience with Windows, UNIX, Linux, Cloud-based systems, and network infrastructure. Some travel may be required for meetings with site personnel and stakeholders. Estimated salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year.
