The Project Superintendent is a key member of our team at APX Construction Group LLC, responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects. This individual will oversee all field operations, ensuring quality and cost controls are met while exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight
    • Responsible for the overall direction and coordination of all field operations on assigned projects.
  • Quality and Cost Control
    • Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Client Satisfaction
    • Identify and exceed client needs through effective communication and project management.
  • Team Leadership
    • Direct and supervise the work of project foremen and crew members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Communication
    • Maintain open and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and team members.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar position in construction management.
  • Valid driver's license.

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to read, understand, and implement project plans and documents.
  • Ability to multitask and exercise independent judgment related to the daily administration of projects.
  • Proven communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Aptitude to anticipate problems and identify solutions.
  • Ability to communicate highly detailed information between project managers, foremen, field crew, subcontractors, and architects/engineers.
  • Able to work in a team environment and foster positive and professional relationships.
  • Highly organized and disciplined.
  • Knowledge of construction-related equipment and proper use.

Physical Requirements

Required to sit for long periods of time; stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop.

Environment

Work is performed indoors (job-site trailer/office) and outdoors (construction site). Travel required as needed.
