Mental Health Support Specialist

The Behavioral Health Technician will provide direct supervision to clients, ensuring their safety and compliance with program rules. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing supportive care and want to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation and house meetings.
- Transport clients to community appointments, such as medical or dental visits, as needed.
- Document client support and progress through detailed notes and reports.
- Monitor and assist with medication administration, when required.
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate situations and ensure client safety.
- Work under the guidance of a Program Coordinator and embody the mission and values of WestCare Foundation.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience working with clients in a residential setting.
- A valid Florida driver's license.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A minimum age requirement of 21 years.
