We are seeking a motivated Mental Health Advocate to join our team at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul South Pinellas, Inc.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health and advocacy, with a focus on supporting veterans and their families.
This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
As a Mental Health Advocate, you will work closely with veterans and their families to provide emotional support and advocacy services.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing emotional support and counseling to help veterans cope with mental health issues and trauma
- Navigating the complex mental health system to ensure veterans receive the resources and services they need
- Advocating for veterans' rights and interests within the healthcare system
