Perioperative Services Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Perioperative Services Manager to join our team at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our perioperative services department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional service to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the perioperative services department, including surgical services, anesthesia, and perioperative nursing.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, quality of care, and operational efficiency.
- Lead a team of professionals, including nurses, technicians, and administrative staff, to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
- Develop and manage budgets, including staffing, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
- Develop and implement education and training programs for staff.
- Represent the department and hospital at local and national levels.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in perioperative services management, including leadership and management experience.
- Current California RN license.
- ANA-approved specialty board certification (e.g., CPAN, CCRN, CV-BC).
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Los Angeles County Fire Card.
- Master's degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
- Experience in hospital administration, including leadership and management experience.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies and procedures.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
