Employment Role

At Inter-Con, we take pride in delivering tailored security solutions for our clients. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be an essential member of a security team that safeguards critical facilities and infrastructure, as well as public venues that necessitate a heightened security presence and asset protection services. This role is vital to the wide array of specialized security services that Inter-Con offers its clients daily.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor various posts (customer counters, employee entrances, vehicle access points, guardhouses, gates, construction sites, parking lots, perimeters, etc.)
  • Conduct patrols, either on foot or in a vehicle, around perimeter fences, gates, buildings, warehouses, storage areas, and switchyards.
  • Identify fire hazards, unauthorized activities, malfunctioning utilities, and hazardous conditions.
  • Perform additional tasks related to the security of the premises as needed.
  • May be required to undertake emergency duties that necessitate physical exertion, such as standing or walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., and running.

Qualifications:

  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Physically capable of fulfilling the assigned duties.
  • Must meet all relevant licensing, registration, and certification requirements in the state where the assigned facility is located.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Education & Experience:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

Licensing, Permits & Certifications:

  • Security Guard Registration Card is necessary.
