The Security Patrol Officer plays a crucial role in safeguarding the well-being of customers, staff, and property within a retail environment. - Conduct routine patrols of the retail area, covering both interior and exterior zones using a golf cart.
- Observe entrances, exits, and parking areas for any suspicious behavior.
- Ensure all locations are secure and devoid of potential risks.
- Operate and supervise surveillance systems, including CCTV.
- Notify relevant authorities of any unusual occurrences or security violations.
- Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, including medical situations, fires, or disturbances.
- Provide first aid or assistance to those injured until professional medical help arrives.
- Document and maintain thorough incident reports for any events during the shift.
- Implement shopping center policies, rules, and regulations.
- Address and resolve conflicts or disturbances in a calm and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Security Training and Certification: Must possess a valid security guard license and any additional certifications as mandated by local laws.
- Physical Fitness: Capability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for long periods, conducting patrols, and responding quickly in emergencies.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, facilitating effective interaction with diverse individuals and the capacity to de-escalate tense situations.
- Attention to Detail: Sharp observational skills and the ability to identify and report potential security threats, suspicious activities, or policy infringements.

- Availability: Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as security services typically require 24/7 coverage.
