Responsibilities:
As a Cell Sorting Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to expand our customer base in the assigned area. This includes lead generation, sales funnel expansion, prospect engagement, closing, and post-closing customer service. You will also provide on-site support and product demonstrations for current and potential customers. Additionally, you will implement agreed-upon sales and marketing action items to meet business goals and provide input to the company on datasets needed to support market development. You will also represent the company at relevant conferences and exhibitions. Your primary goal will be to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values. You will manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also achieve sales and gross margin targets by delivering on both volume and price targets set in the annual sales plan.
Requirements:
BS, MS, or PhD with experience in selling and/or technical support of cell sorting products to pharmaceutical and academic research laboratories is preferred. A strong understanding of cell biology customer needs is also preferred. Demonstrated selling skills and product knowledge are also preferred. You must be available for travel on-site customer demonstrations/customer support. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize are required. Effective and ethical work habits with excellent communication skills are also required. A strong commitment to working as a team in a dynamic environment is also required.
