Patient Care Assistant

Available Shifts: Full Time Day and Night Shifts
The Patient Care Assistant utilizes a combination of cognitive, interpersonal, and technical abilities to deliver fundamental patient support. Under the guidance of the Assistant Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, or Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Assistant aids in the routine, direct bedside assistance for patients across various age groups as outlined by the department's service scope. Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to: personal hygiene, data collection and monitoring, vital signs assessment, intake and output tracking, equipment utilization, activities of daily living (ADLs), documentation in medical records, responding to call lights, and identifying and reacting to emergency situations.

Required Qualifications:
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Experience in acute care or specialized settings.
- Nursing Assistant certification upon hire.
