Job Overview

Available Shifts: Full Time Day and Night Shifts

The Patient Care Assistant utilizes a combination of cognitive, interpersonal, and technical abilities to deliver fundamental patient support. Under the guidance of the Assistant Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, or Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Assistant provides direct bedside assistance to patients across various age groups as specified by departmental protocols. Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to: personal hygiene assistance, data collection and monitoring, vital signs assessment, intake and output tracking, equipment usage, activities of daily living (ADLs), medical record documentation, responding to call lights, and identifying and reacting to emergency situations.

Required Qualifications:
