As a key member of our healthcare team, you will utilize clinical reasoning to conduct accurate assessments and develop individualized plans of care. You will identify and prioritize patient and family needs, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
Clinical Inquiry and Evidence-Based PracticeYou will systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, participating in quality/performance improvement initiatives and supporting evidence-based practice changes through research utilization and experiential learning.
Caring Practices and Patient-Centered CareYou will create a compassionate, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff, developing therapeutic relationships and maintaining appropriate boundaries. You will manage both emotional and physical pain, promoting comfort and healing while preventing unnecessary suffering.
Response to Diversity and InclusionYou will recognize, appreciate, and incorporate a patient's and family's unique differences into an individualized plan of care, ensuring culturally sensitive and respectful care.

You will assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, reviewing patient history and physical with the patient/family and ensuring timely completion. You will formulate a plan of care, considering patient-specific needs, assessment data, and the medical plan of care, and implement the plan through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of the activities of the healthcare team.
You will evaluate patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes in collaboration with other healthcare team members, revising the plan of care as needed and documenting assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record.
You will provide care based on the best evidence available, participating in research activities within clinical practice and promoting/supporting growth of others through precepting and mentoring when appropriate.
