Job Summary

As a Director of Facilities, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and control of plant operations and building renovations. This role requires a strong understanding of facility management principles and the ability to lead a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate existing programs, services, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Monitor the flow and quality of work to ensure timely completion of workload and adherence to facility standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets, including utilities energy savings programs.
  • Manage and ensure regulatory compliance with relevant agencies, including the Joint Commission, State Health Department, EPA, DEP, ADA, UST, and others.
  • Provide guidance, training, and motivation to staff.
  • Monitor work performance and prepare performance evaluations for personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years hospital engineering maintenance experience at Director or Assistant Director level.
  • Experience in hospital project and construction management.
  • Working knowledge of the Joint Commission, NFPA, and other healthcare regulatory agencies.
