Counseling Program Tenure Track Faculty Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Counselor Educator to join our team as a Tenure Track Faculty in the Counseling Program at Pennsylvania Western University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching graduate-level courses in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling, supervising practicum and internship students, and advising students in the Counseling programs. Additionally, the candidate will participate in program development, accreditation responsibilities, and contribute to the university's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Responsibilities:
- Teach graduate-level courses in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling
- Supervise practicum and internship students
- Advise students in the Counseling programs
- Participate in program development and accreditation responsibilities
- Contribute to the university's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Requirements:
- Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP accredited program
- Experience in counseling in school counseling and/or clinical mental health settings
- Experience supervising Master's level counselors
- License and NCC eligible in PA
- Commitment to cultural humility, responsiveness, and social justice
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of counseling experience in K-12 and/or clinical mental health settings
- Three (3) years of experience in university teaching at the Master's level in a counseling program
