Job Overview:

The EPMO Project Manager plays a pivotal role in providing project management support, governance, reporting, and leadership. This individual will work closely with Segment leadership and business partners to align projects with company-wide strategic goals.

This manager-level role requires applicants to have the skills and interest to deliver daily project work, including but not limited to the details specified here as an individual contributor.

The ideal candidate is a versatile project manager adept at tailoring project management approaches to suit each project's unique requirements, the project team's capabilities, the organizational culture, and the needs of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
  • Manage and deliver projects from intake throughout the required project stages to delivery and closure.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure effective communication between stakeholders.
  • Manage expectations and provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Track project performance to ensure the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Track project to keep the finances and resource allocation within the budget.
  • Ability to identify potential risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Capability to assess the impact of risks and make informed decisions to minimize project disruption.
  • Ensure projects meet the highest quality standards and align with organizational goals and success criteria.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Develop and implement best practices, techniques, and tools for project management and execution.
  • Continuously seek to improve project management methodologies and processes and apply lessons learned to inform future initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management, project management, or a related field of study.
  • PMP or Project Management Certifications is a plus.
  • Five years of experience in a project management role.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the U.S. and will not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
