Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Management: Responsible for overseeing the setup of food & beverage service areas within clubs based on specific event needs.
  • Quality Control: Ensures all clubs are set prior to event and maintains excellent quality and hospitality throughout all Club areas.
  • Team Supervision: Responsible for supervising team members on non-event and event days, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Cash Handling: Maintains, resolves, and enforces cash handling policies and procedures, ensuring accurate and responsible handling of cash transactions.
  • Inventory Management: Monitors and maintains inventory control and product requisition, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for events.
  • Alcohol Service: Responsible for supervising the service of beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, and ensuring that all safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Guest Service: Observes guests to respond to any additional requests and ensures that all guests receive excellent service.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event.
  • Employee Relations: Practices excellent Human Resources skills regarding employee relations, corrective action, coaching, and counseling employees, and completes all necessary HR-related paperwork.
Requirements
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience working in a supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner.
  • Language Skills: Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the Club areas, as well as lift, push, and pull objects as needed.
Working Conditions

The Lead Server will work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment, with varying schedules and hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Lead Server must be able to work well in a team-oriented environment and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
