Job Summary

The House Supervisor RN is a highly skilled clinical leader responsible for managing healthcare team members across all hospital-wide functions during a designated shift. This role requires a strong clinical background, leadership skills, and the ability to make decisions regarding patient care and staff management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for supervision and coordination of all house-wide functions during the designated shift.
  • Collaborate with preceptors and new employees to facilitate their integration into the team.
  • Assess the need for and assist in the creation and implementation of staff development programs to enhance professional growth of personnel.
  • Facilitate ongoing performance improvement activities that correlate to the Hospital-wide Performance Improvement Program.
Requirements
  • Current Utah nursing license in good standing.
  • Minimum of two (2) years RN experience, with leadership and management experience highly desirable.
  • Associate's Degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
  • Basic Rhythm interpretation class required within six months of hire.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course (PALS) and Certification.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention.
