About the Job

SP+ is seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our parking garages and other facilities.



Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain pressure washing equipment to clean parking garages and other job sites.
  • Load and affix equipment to trucks, fill tanks with water and chemicals, and lay out hoses for efficient project completion.
  • Wash floors, walls, stairs, pavement, surface lots, and parking garages, ensuring hoses are not tangled and jobs are completed efficiently.
  • Properly dispose of waste water and barricade necessary drains to ensure EPA compliance.
  • Maintain all equipment and provide quality service at every job.
  • Perform quality maintenance inspections and repairs on assigned projects, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Wear appropriate safety equipment, including boots and gloves, and follow all safety protocols.
  • Perform landscaping and snow removal duties as needed.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience operating pressure washing equipment. A valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record is also required.



Availability to work special shifts, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekends, may be required.



You must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and effectively present information to customers and other employees.



Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, including snow storms and extreme heat, and must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
