Position Overview

As a Senior Technical Program Manager for Compliance Infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in steering the execution of compliance-driven hardware certification initiatives. This role is integral to our product compliance division, which oversees a vast array of internal and customer-oriented hardware products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership and responsibility for New Product Introduction (NPI) compliance activities within designated business sectors.
  • Collaborate with AWS Hardware Engineering, Compliance Engineering, Legal, Trade, and other essential cross-functional teams throughout all stages of compliance project management.
  • Ensure the creation and delivery of critical compliance process documentation as required.
  • Engage with manufacturing partners both domestically and internationally during the NPI process to effectively manage compliance project execution.
  • Gather, validate, and maintain compliance evidence at the product level across a diverse portfolio of hardware offerings.
  • Manage relationships with testing laboratories and certification organizations, including contract negotiations and budget oversight.
  • Lead significant projects across multiple teams to mitigate risks associated with compliance.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to define program strategies, project timelines, and oversee technology implementations.

Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in technical product or program management.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional programs and release schedules.
  • Direct experience collaborating with engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to own and drive roadmap strategy and definition.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in building and assessing system-level technical designs.
