We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Environmental, Health and Safety Intern. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with our Environmental Health and Safety System (EHS) and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with internal safety and environmental audits to ensure compliance with EHS standards.
- Conduct job safety analyses (JSA) and develop procedures for safe equipment operation.
- Monitor workplace environmental conditions, including light, noise, and chemical levels.
- Maintain accurate records of safety data sheets (SDS) and environmental compliance.
- Research and implement best practices for safety and environmental management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Compliance Manager and Environmental Health and Safety Specialist.
Requirements:
- Student enrolled full-time or part-time at an accredited university or technical college.
- Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, with flexibility to work up to 40 hours.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
