Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Mass General Brigham in East Sandwich, Massachusetts. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients' physical therapy needs and develop treatment plans in collaboration with our team of healthcare professionals.
- Provide physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.
- Practice in collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.
- Direct and supervise support personnel, including physical therapy aides and assistants.
- Manage technical, environmental, and financial resources effectively and efficiently.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
- Basic skills in math and computer science.
- Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population.
- Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations.
- Work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
- Anticipates challenges and develops and implements strategies for addressing them.
- High level of service delivery.
