Job Summary

Macom Technology Solutions Holdings, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electronic Component Assembler to join our team in a 2nd shift position. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in the production of precision semiconductor assemblies and raw components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, inspect, and test precision semiconductor assemblies and raw components according to product specifications.
  • Follow documented procedures and provide immediate feedback when there is uncertainty.
  • Meet daily production rate and communicate production output. Address issues immediately when production is at risk.
  • Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications, using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
  • Assure calibrated equipment is being used as required and notify the appropriate Engineer if it is not.
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
  • High School degree.
  • 2 years related work experience preferred, but will hire the right attitude and train.
  • Due to ITAR regulations, candidates must be a USCitizen or Permanent Resident.
