About the Role

This Student Support Professional position is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students in Bledsoe County. As part of our team, you will work closely with school leadership and teachers to develop and implement mental wellness strategies, providing individual and group interventions to help students develop positive coping mechanisms and de-escalation techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement behavior interventions to promote student success">
  • Provide support and consultation to teachers and school personnel on trauma-informed practices">
  • Crisis intervention and case management for students and families">
  • Assess family situations affecting academic progress and plan interventions">
  • Plan, conduct, and evaluate parent education/support groups">
  • Collaborate with community resources to reduce stigma around mental health">
  • Develop strategies to ensure student success while reducing juvenile court referrals">

Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified professional with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology. A master's degree is preferred. Previous experience working with children and adolescents' behaviors, emotional & behavioral health, mental health, professional counseling or state-approved equivalent and social services is also desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
