At WestCare Foundation, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Support Specialist to join our team.

About the Job

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are looking for an individual who can provide daily support to assigned program participants, ensuring their safety and well-being in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counseling, social work, or a related field, with experience working with individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health disorders.

Key responsibilities include supervising program participants, facilitating mentoring and discipline, and implementing crisis intervention techniques to ensure participant, staff, and visitor safety.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting with the initial assessment and receiving of new program participants, participating in 24/7 coverage, and monitoring participant whereabouts to ensure they remain on WestCare property or have appropriate paperwork to leave.
