Bon Secours is an equal opportunity employer seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Surgery team at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond, VA.
Job DescriptionThis is a full-time opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Orthopedic Operating Room. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring seamless coordination of care.
Essential Functions:- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment, analyze assessment data, create a plan of care, implement treatment, and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Administer medications safely and consistently with State of Practice and Bon Secours policies and procedures.
- Coordinate patient care delivery, act as a point of contact for patients' care coordination throughout hospital departments, and advocate for patient safety.
- A valid nursing license from the state of practice.
- An Associate of Nursing or Diploma in Nursing degree (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- BLS Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association (preferred).
