Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist II to join our team at VCU Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, utilizing advanced imaging equipment and technology to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures, including administering contrast agents and ensuring patient safety
  • Operate MRI scanners and power injectors, producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Assess patient risk for allergic reactions to contrast media and other related medications
  • Document patient information, exam results, and any deviations from protocol
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely completion of exams and transfer of images
Requirements
  • ARRT certification or NMTCB certification
  • 6 months of experience in MRI technology or related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
