Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing fast and friendly service to our customers, performing a variety of tasks in a convenient store setting, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate a cash register, scan or enter numbers into a keypad, lift and move goods, make change, bag product, and maintain proper cash levels.
  • Prepare, fill, and rotate food service products, including coffee and other self-serve beverages.
  • Replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions are always met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
  • Condition aisles, set up checkout areas, and set up displays as needed.
  • Regularly communicate with assistant store managers regarding customer inquiries and vendor concerns.
  • Perform limited duties related to the care and maintenance of gas station areas.
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements of the position.
  • Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform the job.
  • Must meet the company performance standards for the job, including regular attendance.
Physical Requirements
  • Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs.
  • Job cycles: continual maximum.
  • Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
  • Stand: 55%, Sit: 0%, Walk: 45%.
  • Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
  • Max pull static: 20 lbs.
