Job Summary:

As a Senior Capital Project Manager II at Johns Hopkins Health System, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex construction projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion. This role requires a strong background in project management, with experience in managing projects exceeding $10M. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including architecture, engineering, and finance teams, to ensure seamless project execution. Your expertise in project initiation, design, budgeting, construction, safety, and closeout will be essential in driving project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage renovation, tenant fit-out, and capital renewal projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop project plans, budgets, and schedules.
Coordinate with external partners, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project deliverables meet client requirements.
Develop and implement project risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.
Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including project status, budget, and schedule.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
At least 8 years of project management experience in a comparable position, leading or supporting the delivery of construction projects under or above $10M.
Strong background in project management, with expertise in project initiation, design, budgeting, construction, safety, and closeout.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, with minimal oversight, on high-risk, complex, and large-scale projects.
