Job Title: Registered Nurse II

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our team at Northern Light Health. As a Registered Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse II is a fully competent practitioner of nursing, responsible for the practice of nursing according to the Rules and Regulations defined in the State of Maine Nurse Practice Act, Northern Light Health Standards of Care/Practice, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient-centered care to assigned patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Supervise and delegate patient care to other qualified staff members, as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the physical, emotional, and educational needs of patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine.
  • 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The Registered Nurse II will be required to lift, move, and load 30 to 50 pounds, and may be exposed to hazardous materials, noxious odors, and very hot or cold temperatures.
