Role Overview

Speech Language Pathologists play a crucial role in the rehabilitation of patients recovering from traumatic injuries or illnesses. At SSM Health Day Institute, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team.

About the Job

This is a full-time position working 8am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for evaluating patients, establishing treatment goals, and developing comprehensive treatment programs. You will also provide ongoing patient education and coordinate treatment programs with other clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Providing comprehensive patient education and coordination with other clinical services.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech Therapy required.
  • Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience required.
  • CPR certification.

  • Estimated annual salary: $73,000 - $100,000 depending on experience.
