Job Overview

This position involves assessing and treating individuals with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, working in schools, healthcare facilities, or private practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients with speech, language, and communication disorders, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to enhance communication skills, setting realistic goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, promoting a holistic approach to patient well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and progress reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current SLP license in the United States, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or adult patients, showcasing versatility and adaptability.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred, indicating a commitment to excellence and ongoing professional development.
