Job Summary

KBS Constructors, Inc. is seeking a dependable and positive field intern to join our team. As a field intern, you will gain valuable hands-on knowledge of the commercial construction industry by working with experienced tradesmen and completing on-the-job training in various carpentry tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Execute tasks and activities as directed by the superintendent, adhering to plans and specifications.
  • Assist with wall layout, framing, sheet rocking, drywall finishing, rough carpentry, and concrete work, as well as installing acoustical ceilings, bathroom partitions, doors, and hardware.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and production standards established by the superintendent's task plans.
  • Foster a positive attitude within the crew and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Comply with safety policies and keep the jobsite clean and free of debris.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as directed by the superintendent.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Currently enrolled in Construction Management, Construction Technology, or a related program at a higher education institution.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must pass background and drug screening.
