About the Role:

The Estimator II is a key member of our estimating team, responsible for assisting the Senior Estimator in preparing individual estimates and total preparation of estimates when assigned by the Estimating Director.

As an Estimator II, you will be accountable for accurate and timely quantity surveys, as well as preliminary pricing through full estimates when assigned by the Senior Estimator or Estimating Director.

You will make every effort to satisfy the needs of the Client with respect to each estimate, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key Suppliers and Subcontractors to ensure competitive and complete pricing for all estimates.

The Estimator II will utilize proper procedures and available tools in the preparation of an estimate, ensuring that all estimates are accurate, complete, and meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Estimator in preparing individual estimates and total preparation of estimates when assigned by the Estimating Director.
  • Accountable for accurate and timely quantity surveys, as well as preliminary pricing through full estimates when assigned by the Senior Estimator or Estimating Director.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key Suppliers and Subcontractors to ensure competitive and complete pricing for all estimates.
  • Utilize proper procedures and available tools in the preparation of an estimate.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related technical field; field construction management experience is preferred but not required.
  • Three (3) years, at a minimum, of estimating experience is preferred, in addition to one (1) year of field experience.
