Job Summary

The Night Audit position at River Link Hotels is a critical role that requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience for our guests, while also maintaining a safe and secure environment during the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet and interact with internal and external guests in a genuinely warm and friendly manner, using professional and company-standard nomenclature.
  • Room Management: Process check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments, while maintaining the integrity of guests' privacy and confidentiality.
  • Financial Management: Post guest charges and payments, process no-shows, and adjust disputed charges, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Run daily reports and contingency lists, conduct bucket checks to ensure accuracy, and verify rate codes to make appropriate adjustments on guests' invoices.
  • Communication: Operate the telephone system, answering calls within three rings, using the correct salutation and telephone etiquette, and process and respond to wake-up calls according to standard operating procedure.
  • Problem-Solving: Respond promptly to questions, concerns, and special requests, and solve problems proficiently, ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Teamwork: Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the team, supporting each other to achieve our goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ year of relevant work experience in a similar scope and title, with a strong background in customer service and front desk operations.
  • Skills: Ability to perform all tasks at the front desk, proficiently use job-related software, property management systems, and office equipment, and demonstrate strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of office equipment, property management systems, and company policies and procedures, with a valid driver's license and ability to park cars with automatic or manual transmission.
Work Environment

The Night Audit position requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability, with frequent changing priorities and deadlines. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a shared space and constant noise. Schedules may vary from week to week, with or without notice, and may exceed or be less than 40 hours per week.

Physical Demands

The Night Audit position requires a high level of physical stamina, with regular standing for up to 8 hours per day, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds, and frequent travel by foot, car, bus, airplane, or other means of transportation.
