  • Monitor and control expenses, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate ordering and receiving procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 24+ months retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of seafood products, including purchasing, merchandising, and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Food safety certification.
Working Conditions

The Seafood Team Leader will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent exposure to cold temperatures and potentially hazardous equipment. The ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods is required.
