Executive Leader for Behavioral Health Services

At Danbury Hospital, we are seeking a visionary Executive Leader to spearhead our Behavioral Health Services. This esteemed individual will provide strategic direction and leadership to drive clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and financial strength across our network of hospitals and outpatient clinics.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology, alongside a strong clinical background as an LSCW, RN, or APRN. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize throughput improvement, recruiting and supervising department staff, and driving execution to ensure quality and clinical performance.
This role requires exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with professionals, both verbally and in writing. The successful candidate will be able to make sound decisions, effectively review financials, and make suggestions for improvement. They will also be responsible for representing the health system to external stakeholders, including state agencies, provider groups, and professional boards.
